The Center for Independent Employees is a 501(c)(3) legal defense foundation that provides legal representation and aid to independent employees who are opposed to union oppression in their workplaces.
This Policy identifies the types of information the Center for Independent Employees collects; describes use of that information; and informs individuals opting-in to receive communications and donors information safeguards.
Individual and Donor Information
The Center for Independent Employees may collect and maintain the following types of information about Individuals and about our Donors:
Contact information such as name, address, telephone number and email address.
Payment information related to a donor’s gift.
Information shared by Individuals and Donors as part of their relationship with the Center for Independent Employees, such as the interests, questions or suggestions.
Security of Individual and Donor information
The Center for Independent Employees is responsible for all Individual and Donor information in our possession. All employees are individually required to safeguard all information. The Center for Independent Employees employs technological, physical and organizational security measures to ensure the safekeeping of confidential information.
Use and Disclosure of Individual and Donor Information
The Center for Independent Employees may use Individual and Donor information in the following ways:
To establish and manage our relationship, including helping us understand and identify preferences, expectations and interests.
To provide requested information.
To share our publications, event invitations, messages from the Center for Individual Employees and news updates by text, phone, mail and email.
The Center for Independent Employees does not sell or rent individual or donor information.
